Powerwashing a Chromebook (Factory Reset)

Powerwash your Chromebook

1. Sign out of your Chromebook or be on the login screen.
2. Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + r.
3. Select Restart if prompted, otherwise continue to Step 4.
4. In the box that appears, select Powerwash and then Continue.

Set up your Chromebook

1. After it is done powerwashing, click Get Started (Choose whether or not you want to use ChromeVox).
2. Connect to either the guest network or a personal network.
3. Click Done on the Enterprise enrollment complete screen.

You may now use your Chromebook.

Alternatively, please follow the steps on the attached PDF. These steps might be necessary if you are unable to " Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + r" in the Powerwash process.
